APL FCU recently joined the CO-OP Surcharge-Free ATM Network. Our members have unlimited access to over 33,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, including at participating credit union branches and thousands of 7-Eleven, Costco, and Dash In stores.

Effective Saturday, November 1, we will no longer participate in the Allpoint Surcharge-Free ATM Network. To avoid any ATM surcharge fees, you should discontinue using Allpoint ATMs in stores such as Target and CVS and begin using CO-OP ATMs.

Why did we switch from Allpoint to CO-OP?

• The Allpoint Network includes only standalone ATMs that require you to park your vehicle and enter the establishment. With numerous drive-thru ATM locations at participating credit unions, the CO-OP Network provides flexibility for members who prefer to not leave their vehicle (such as parents with children/toddlers in the back seat or members with mobility issues).
• ATM usage has dropped significantly the past several years, as the use of cashless payment options continues to grow. Also, our members often access free cash through non-ATM sources, including at grocery stores and other businesses that offer a cash back option at the point of purchase.
• WaWa and Royal Farms both provide surcharge-free ATMs to all their customers, and the two chains have added dozens of stores in our area recently.
Because the CO-OP Surcharge-free ATM Network is the same vendor as our debit and credit card processor, it offers seamless integration into our system at significant cost savings compared to the Allpoint Network.
