APL Federal Credit Union has teamed up with Currency Exchange International (CXI) to help you with your foreign travel needs. We offer competitive exchange rates on purchasing or redeeming foreign currency.
Euros, British Pounds, Japanese Yen, Mexican Pesos, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Swiss Francs, Swedish Kroners, and Hong Kong Dollars, as well as currencies for over 100 additional countries.
Foreign Currency redemption can be processed by visiting any branch location to fill out a redemption form. The actual exchange rate is determined by CXI upon receipt of the redemption form. For the most current exchange rates and availability please contact the Credit Union.
Please note: Foreign currency must be ordered in advance, as we do not keep foreign currency on hand at our branch locations. Euros are usually available for pick-up within 1-2 business days after ordering, while other currencies may take longer. We recommend ordering foreign currency at least 10 days in advance of your trip departure.
