Who Can Join?

APL Federal Credit Union is open to anyone who lives, works, attends school or regularly conducts business in Howard County, Maryland. Immediate family members of current credit union members are also eligible for membership - even if they do not live or work in Howard County.

How Do I Join?

It’s easy to become a member of APL Federal Credit Union and to start taking advantage of the benefits of membership. You can use our easy Online Membership Application, or stop by member services at any of our locations to join in person.

All new membership requests and accounts are verified through a Credit Report and ChexSystems, a national network of member banks and credit unions that validates identification and reports on current and prior account mishandling (i.e. fraudulent activity, account closures, overdrawn activity, and monies owed).
