Members and non-members are invited to bring and shred financial statements, receipts, invoices and other personal documents.

Personal shredders and many other prizes will be given away on this day.

PHISHING ALERT
Last week a fraudulent e-mail was distributed using the APLFCU brand. The e-mail states that your account has been suspended until you click on their bogus link and log in to their bogus site - which looks very similar to the APLFCU online banking login page. Please be aware that this is a forgery. Do not click on any links within this notification.

As always, you should access our site by typing our address (aplfcu.org) directly into your browser address line. Our "FRAUD ALERTS" button on our homepage will link you to any current threats that have been spotted and ways to prevent them in the future.

Remember, APLFCU will never send an email asking for sensitive information, such as your Social Security Number, Account Number or passwords, or check/ATM/credit card information. Please notify us immediately at 443-778-5250 if you receive a suspicious e-mail purporting to be from APLFCU, or believe you may have provided sensitive information to a bogus site.
