The APLFCU Classic Visa® is available in five different
images: Paradise, Satellite Dish, Sunflower, Sunset Bay and Swoosh.
There is no charge for any of the images on new Visa accounts, or
for renewal cards on existing accounts. Members who wish to replace
their current card with a new image before their card expires may
do so for a nominal fee of $5 per card. |
Current members who wish to receive a new image free
of charge at renewal should contact the credit union. Requests
must be received at least two months prior
to the card expiration date. For example, if your card expires at the end
of November you must notify APLFCU by the end of September.

Be sure to include your name, account number and the name of the image
you want when sending e-mail requests. Do
Not send member numbers through any other e-mail channels that are not
secured - use our online e-mail form. Please
do not include your credit card number in this request.
Members who want a new image, but don’t want to wait until their
current card expires, should also contact the credit union. Be sure
to indicate whether
you want the $5 fee to come from your savings or checking account.
APL Federal Credit Union uses a new fraud protection
system provided by our card service center. This system allows
APLFCU to maintain a high level of security and safety for Visa
Check Card and Credit Card users while minimizing requirements
from our cardholders.
If the system detects unusual or suspicious activity on an account,
the cardholder may be contacted by phone. The caller will identify
that the call is from APL Federal Credit Union’s card services
center and verify the cardholder by their name and last four
digits of their Social Security Number. If the cardholder is
unavailable, a message asking the cardholder to return the call
is provided.
